Using different country proxies?

Im relocating to Toronto (I live in Michigan) and I was wondering if I can still use the proxies in my office? Would I still be able to use and access the proxies in my office back in the states or do I need to buy a whole new kit in Toronto?

Hey @Shannonymiss ! Yes, you can use proxies that are hosted in another country. While in Canada, you will be able to access the proxies in your US office and it will give you access to US servers. As one of our key features, the Proxidize Cloud router, will bypass port forwarding restrictions, and provide you with external access (access from anywhere outside the server’s local network) to the Proxidize dashboard and proxies, all that you need to do to access this feature is enable it from your dashboard using the following guide: Enabling The Cloud Router | Proxidize.

If you have a server based in another country, you can still have access to it and it will give you the geo-restricted content available in that specific country. So there is no need to purchase an entire kit just for your Toronto office. As long as you still have the login credentials for the dashboard of your US-based server, you should be able to access those proxies.

Please note that is answer is strictly heading towards the Cloud platform and not Gen2, if it’s Gen2 related then we will providing instructions regarding regular port forwarding.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to come back to this thread and we can help you accordingly
