Site Tracking

Can someone explain site tracking to me? I keep seeing the terms WebGL and WebRTC whenever I use an anti detect browser and I just cannot for the life of me understand what exactly they do.

Hey! So, site tracking is basically how websites keep tabs on your activities and preferences, mostly to tailor ads or content specifically for you. WebGL and WebRTC are technologies that help with that, but they also enhance your web experience by allowing for advanced graphics (WebGL) and video/audio communication (WebRTC) directly in your browser.

The catch is, while these technologies make things look cool and interactive, they can also give away a ton of info about your device, like your hardware details or real IP address, even if you’re using an anti-detect browser that’s meant to keep you anonymous. That’s why you see them mentioned in the context of privacy tools and settings!
