MX2 Signal Issue

Hey Ive been having poor signal on my MX2 modems. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?

Hi @BeautifulSoupDrinker , if you are using an MX2 modem from Proxidize then we suggest placing it in an alternate location. Consider placing it in an elevated position closer to a window or in a location with the best signal reception.

Yeah I tried that. Still having issues.

In that case, we suggest investing in a signal booster to enhance the signal. However, please note that for the signal booster to work, the reception outside your home or office needs to be strong as well. Alternatively, check to see if the SIM cards you are using are from a provider that offers strong service to your area.

And what do I do if THAT doesnt work either?

Our final suggestion is to invest in an Android 7+ mobile phone as mobile phones have better antennas. Currently, we have an Android app you can download off the Google Play store that can turn any Android phone into an endpoint. Simple search for “Proxidize” in the store and download the application. Set up should take only a few seconds. You could connect the phone to the dashboard by scanning the QR code on the top right of the dashboard. If you are still experiencing issues, please let us know so we can figure out a solution.
