Difference between "tunnel" and "chain"

Heyya! Can someone explain the difference between a tunnel and chain when it comes to proxies/vpns/tor?

Tunnel means point-to-point and is mainly for VPNs. Chain means a lot of points so itll be like point-to-point-to-point-to-point etc.

For tunneling, The HTTP CONNECT method allows a user accessing the Internet through a proxy server to connect to FH Web Edition servers, provided the user runs the FH Web Edition client on a Windows computer.

Proxy chaining involves linking two or more proxies, where one proxy forwards traffic to another. This setup can be utilized if you have an existing proxy in your network that you want to connect to Forcepoint Web Security Cloud.
